12/16/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
12/16/16 17:58 Socialization Apollo is friendly and outgoing with strangers and is relaxed around children and is gentle with them but owner keeps an eye on him to ensure he does not play too rough. He lives in a home with a 3 year old. He is very friendly with other dogs that he meets and lives with another dog that he is playful and relaxed with. He has not been around cats before. Behavior Apollo is house trained and does not destroy household items except for baby toys that are left within his reach. he is not bothered by loud noises. He is not bothered by having his food, treats or toys touched or taken while eating. He is not bothered by being bathed or brushed. When strangers approach the house he will bark. New family Apollo has a high level of energy at home and is friendly and pushy with his love. He follows his owner around the house and loves chew bones and rawhides. He is kept indoors mostly and is very house trained. He is well behaved when left home alone. He knows the commands sit, stay, play dead and stop barking. he pulls very hard on the leash and can be walked without a leash, he will wander but comes when called. he is fed pedigree dry food twice a day. Intake Apollo is very energetic during intake and barking at another dog in the lobby the entire time and is pulling to get to other dog but he remained with a wagging tail. He allowed all handling.

12/20/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Joining us with his sister Athena A1081682, Apollo was surrendered to our care due to cost. He’s lost a lot of weight since his first stay with us, as has Athena, so both dogs will benefit from some high calorie nutritious food. Excited to be out for a walk, Apollo goes potty right away confirming his former owner’s info that he’s housetrained. In addition to his canine sister Athena, Apollo also lived with a 3 year old human sibling. Apollo has nice leash manners, is lively and friendly, loved playing with toys tossing them around, amusing himself and then playing tug with me. Shhhhh, I let him win but let’s keep that our secret. Apollo sneaks a sniff into my treat bag, and then sits and waits doing a quick little jump after for his treat which he takes gently. We’re told he’s friendly with other dogs he meets, doesn’t guard his things, is well behaved when left home alone, and has good energy. Lively and tail wagging, Apollo’s sparkling eyes tell of good times ahead. Let’s get him home to play, love, and enjoy some fine nutritious dining. He’s going to make someone a very lucky adopter. Shouldn’t it be you?
