A volunteer writes: Adopted some time ago along with her brother Apollo (A1081682) both have been returned to our care due to ‘cost’. Anxious and happy to make new friends, Athena bounces out of her kennel for a chance to go potty and cuddle with anyone willing to cuddle with her. Her tail never stops wagging as we head to the park, her face open and welcoming and schmushy! Who can resist that funny little face. Lots of people couldn’t and Athena got hugs and cuddles galore from staff – she was in cuddle heaven! We’re told that Athena lived with a 3 yo child, is friendly with other dogs, is housetrained, doesn’t guard her things, loves chew bones and rawhides, is well behaved when home alone and knows ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘play dead’ and ‘stop barking’. Athena pulled a bit on leash, scavenges for food on the sidewalk, is hungry for treats and enjoys them with gusto. Bouncy, fun and affectionate this little peanut is ready to spend her happily ever after cuddling with her new person. She’s at that perfect age and move in ready. Come meet her today!
