A volunteer writes: Sweet Zuse has a lot in common with his namesake, the Greek god Zeus (strong, handsome, regal) but he is just such a special boy that we had to spell his name a little differently. 🙂 And I mean REALLY special (while we were on our walk this afternoon, Zuse attempted to eat some bird poop before I stopped him!). This sweet boy was brought in by his former owner because his previous family was moving to housing that didn’t allow him (not Zuse’s fault!), where he learned to sit for treats and take them very nicely (I wouldn’t be surprised if he quickly learns more tricks, too). Zuse seems to be housetrained, loves people and giving kisses, and will almost certainly try to climb into your lap and love up on you if you give him a few scratches behind the ear. Zuse pulls a little bit on the leash but not too much, and is very responsive to his handler. Come and see this special boy at the Brooklyn ACC today!

If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email [email protected]. Our experienced volunteers will do their best to guide you through the process. * We highly discourage everyone from trusting strangers that send them Facebook messages, offering help, for it has ended in truly tragic events.* For more info on behavior codes and ratings, please click here: http://information.urgentpodr.org/acc-placement-status-descriptions.
