A volunteer writes: You know those people that can pack a month’s worth of things into a carry on bag? I think Zoie was made by one of those people! I mean, really, how much cuteness, sweetness and fun can you fit into less than 40 pounds?? She can be a tiny bit shy at first, and a little skittish if there’s a lot of commotion, but mostly she is super wiggly, affectionate and playful. Sometimes she pulls a little on the leash (and being on one doesn’t stand in the way between her and getting the zoomies!), but she is still very easy to handle and often looks up with that precious mug. She seems housebroken, loves toys and is reported to be very playful with children. She’s very treat motivated and will “sit” for them. Zoie has needed a moment to warm up when she’s been in playgroup, but likes to play chase with the other dogs once she does. When I hang out with her off leash she likes to play chase with me too — play bowing and darting away…a great way to expend her energy! Of course she is easily caught, and will even turn herself in by propping her paws on my lap and doing some cuddling. Come meet her at Brooklyn ACC, you’ll make her day!
