10/18/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Due his current medical condition/health status, Zim is not an appropriate candidate for a SAFER assessment at this time. The behavior department believes Zim would benefit best from placement with a New Hope Rescue who can meet his needs medically and then assess behavior once in a stable environment. Force-free, reward based training is advised when introducing/exposing Zim to new and unfamiliar situations.

When introduced off leash to other dogs in the care center, Zim approaches and offers polite greeting. He offers a strong correction when approached near his face (dog has mass on face).
