A volunteer writes:

Puppy Ziggy was found as a stray and I can not fathom why..really….She is a very pretty little gal, perfectly carved in a rare marble wood, healthy, perfectly groomed and the ideal weight…If this is not enough, Ziggy is one welcoming, sociable, friendly and super playful youngster. She strolls very nicely on the leash. No silly or annoying business like biting the leash or mouthing me. I can not  affirm that she is house trained but she eliminated at each of our outings. Ziggy is calm and collected in her kennel. She accepts my leash without problem. She obviously knows what it is. I did not capture her smile in my photos but I can assure you that she owns a big one when she plays ball…Someone taught her and loved her… Ziggy  is quite animated when she sees a ball. She runs, jumps after it and catches it to release it into my hand. It takes two to play and Ziggy knows that….Smart girl!! She play bows to other pooches through the gate, even the little ones and I was told that she was quite happy in playgroups with her peers. Ziggy is only six months of age. She has some rudiment of training, like sit, come and stay but there is lots of room to make her your 100 % own if you choose to adopt her and cherish her as your forever best friend. Come and meet Ziggy at the Manhattan Care Center. She would love to be yours.
