02/19/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: I just finished spending the day with Zeus at a mobile adoption event, and I am absolutely in love with him. Zeus loves chew toys and scratches behind the ears, enjoys giving kisses to his favorite people, can sit for treats, and tries to play with just about every dog he sees. Although he had a lot of energy at the beginning of the day, after a little while of saying hi to people and dogs, Zeus was ready for a nap! One Petco shopper (where the adoption event was held) liked Zeus so much that she went inside and bought him a big bone, which he happily lay down to chew on. Although Zeus pulls a little bit on the leash, he does great walking on a harness and he’s so friendly with other dogs that he’s used as a “helper dog” at doggie playgroups at the care center. That means he’s the dog we introduce new dogs to when we want to see how they get along with other dogs. Someone is going to snap up Zeus soon– come and see him at the BACC today!
