12/28/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Handsome and attractive, a head turner… I could see that walking my friend Zeus around the block, the way people were eying him, in admiration…. He might look at little bit like a tough guy in his silvery suit and with his determined look but he is in fact a great pooch to spend time with. Zeus pulls a little on the leash(nothing that I cannot manage) and slightly marks his territory. He is proper meeting dogs on the way, tail high, tough to show that he is “The Man”. He was a bit scared of a Billy Goat that made his way to the care center…He sits very nicely on command and absolutely loves treats. He will insist in getting more as he seems to have been a bit deprived in food before he came to us. Zeus should indeed weigh much more than what he does right now and he would look then like an elegant and muscular compact gent. He is a friendly character who comes for caresses to my chest and joined staff in a game of tag while being assessed for behavior(he did very well by the way). Zeus is a very good looking dog, sociable and friendly who most likely will need a little bit of polish but nothing that an experienced dog owner can not manage. He will make, if given a chance, an awesome and and gorgeous forever best friend. Come and meet Zeus soon at the Manhattan Care Center.
