A volunteer writes: I knew Zeus and I would be friends when as I leashed him he gave me a quick kiss on my hand. LOVE! Zeus was surrendered to us by the only family he’s ever known due to personal problems. We’re told he lived with children as young as 2yo, plays gently with them, licks their faces and enjoys hours of petting. He loves when visitors come to the house, jumping in the excitement of welcome, lived with two other large dogs and loved playing chase with them, play bowing to get their attention. We’re also told he doesn’t guard his stuff, knows ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’ and ‘down’, is housetrained and walked 3x a day. I loved my time with Zeus, he’s easy and gentle, showed off his housetraining skills, is gorgeously groomed, the perfect weight for his size, and loves to explore his surroundings head down for a thorough sniffing. Ignoring a bird that flew into our pen, he found a toy that he loved tossing around, chased a tossed tennis ball and then joined me on the bench for more kisses. Zeus romps in playgroup with a female friend when play is solicited. Mr. Awesome, I mean Zeus, is looking for a new family to love.Well behaved, gentle and easy to be with he seems mature beyond his years, ready to snuggle with his new person. Come meet him today and I guarantee you’ll want to take him home.
