10/02/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/02/16 15:39 Zena was brought into the care center as a stray. The surrender found her two days ago and kept her in his backyard. He says that she was very friendly and euberant during her entire stay. She was not bothered when she was touches or her food bowl was touched. She was fed dry dog food and she had no problem eating. She played with the ball he had in the backyard. She had a loose wiigy body throughout the entire admissions process. She allowed all handling and only became more hyper when handled.
10/10/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Zena is soooo sweet. Like, get a cavity after Trick-or-Treating sweet! Like diabetic coma sweet! She’s the kind of sweet that makes you want to squeeze her and kiss her and hold her like a baby. Ok, I may be over exaggerating a little bit; she won’t cause you any medical ailments, but being with her will definitely make your heart swell, figuratively of course. She has the gentlest nature about her; her body language is always soft and wiggly. You can see joy on her face when giving her even the smallest amount of attention. She wants to stay close, and often sits at my feet, peering up at me, causing me-of course, to shower her with another round of kisses. And she’s not bashful about returning those kisses, either. Zena does more than cuddle and kiss, though! She walks beautifully on the leash, seems housetrained, and is friendly and sociable toward other dogs. She’s quiet in her kennel, takes treats nicely and has all the makings of a great family dog. Zena does have some missing fur on her back and neck, but she is still gorgeous and has the most unique black spots among the white of her coat. If you want all the sweetness of candy without the calories, ask to meet Zena today!
