04/22/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: It was the perfect spring morning to meet the perfect dog! Absolutely stunning in his gleaming, soft, tan and gold coat, his weight perfect for his size, it’s clear that Yoohoo was lovingly taken care of before joining us. He’s easy peasy on leash, seems to be housetrained, knows how to sit and takes treats gently. If I dropped a treat, Yoohoo scrambled after it — so cute, he loves his treats!! Yoohoo and I hung out in the park, Yoohoo on the bench enjoying the sun on his face and giving me that fabulous smile that pitties are known for. Low key, calm, gentle, loves petting, ignored the park squirrels and other critters, he’s the perfect respite from a busy day and when we shared some kisses I swooned. Outside in a backyard pen, a bunch of small dogs were having their group play, and Yoohoo stood watching them, gently wagging his tail. In his own group session, he solicits and enjoys bouncy play. I fell in love with this gentle boy, and when our time was over he hopped back into his kennel and gave me another soft wag of his tail. It’s no surprise that he rocked his behavior assessment and is now just waiting for you to find him. He’s going to make an awesome friend! Another volunteer updates: Let’s play, let’s kiss, and then let’s play some more! This little guy who’s so quiet in his kennel, raided the toy box on his way out the door and we had some fun! Good on leash, likely housetrained, he walks with a toy in his mouth, and off leash gets the zoomies and plays a great game of keep away! So cute! He loves his toys, he loves to snuggle and give nibble kisses while snuggled comfortably in my lap. He’s stunningly gorgeous with a personality to match and is ready to adopt you as his family forever. Come meet him today!
