10/26/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/26/16 14:55 The clients who found Yina tied to a pole reported that she was a bit shy at first, but warmed up and quickly allowed petting. Clients said that she allowed a bath in their tub.She was very eager to eat food, and got very excited during mealtime and ran around the house. During intake, Yina came up to counselor and sniffed counselor’s hand. Yina allowed to be pet and collared, and followed counselor outside to take pictures. Yina watched the other dogs outside with ears forward. She hid behind counselor when someone came to take her for vaccinations, but after sniffing his hand allowed him to put a leash on her and walked with him to the back.
10/29/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: A Brindlicious pocket pittie, Miss Yina was found tied to a pole and brought into our care by the people that found her. She’s an adorable little girl, a bit shy at first, but she warms up quickly showing off her sweet personality. Waiting quietly in her kennel for her turn for a walk, I leash her easily, she hops down and once outside uses ‘the facilities’ right away, so may be housetrained. Checking up often as we walk (she’s such a good girl), her leash manners are lovely and her walk is actually a runway model prance. So elegant! Yina is a bit too thin so we’re feeding her an extra meal each day to help her gain a few pounds. Off leash in a pen she snuggles in close for some hugs, and when I sit on the ground she immediately joins me on my lap and gives me some kisses. After our cuddle session Yina gets the zoomies, bowing to me to play and she’s beyond adorable to watch. Yina has enjoyed her play dates with both males and females, appreciating polite and gentle manners from her canine friends as she does from her humans. Snuggly, sweet, playful and adorable, we’re rooting for this little girl to find her new person or family today.
