01/19/16 18:54 Wolverine is a tan Staffordshire that appears to be 2 years old. He followed finder to her house and jumped into the car excitably. He allowed being petted and sat for treats. During intake Wolverine allowed being collard, scanned and photographed. He was friendly, body loose and wiggly.

Wolverine came in as a stray, so his past behaviors in a home are unknown. At intake it was reported Wolverine was friendly and allowed all handling. During SAFER wolverine came into the assessment room loose and wiggly, he was friendly and attention seeking towards the assessor, allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Wolverine was relaxed during the tag interaction, and during the resources portion of the assessment Wolverine was easy to handle when engaged with the item. Wolverine appears to be sociable, and did not display any behaviors concerns, so the department feels he can be suitable for an “Average” adopter. Look: 1. Dog holds gaze with soft eyes, soft body. He allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Dog holds gaze for three full seconds. Sensitivity: 1. Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft, soft and loose body, open mouth. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Squeeze 2:1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Toy 1: No interest. Dog-dog: When off leash with other dogs, Wolverine greets with a stiff body. Once he enters the pen, Wolverine is mostly sexually motivated but takes correction well from the handler’s corrections.
