05/23/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
05/23/16 20:19 Winnie was found by the police at a Skate park and brought her to us. Police stated that they walked and fed her before bring her in. Winne had a soft body with her tail wagging. She allowed scanning (-), we collared her and took her photo. She sat for the treats that we gave her and was sniffing her surroundings.
05/27/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Winne’s guide to dating goes something like this: Greet person with a smile. Wag tail. Realize person is holding bag of treats. Get up on hind legs to investigate. Get down when person requests ‘sit’. Smile again. Wiggle butt. Snarfle treat and repeat as many times as person will allow–always expect another treat! She enjoys playing with toys (especially plushies), giving kisses (and love nibbles) and getting out for walks (doing her business as we go) but eating is definitely Winne’s favorite activity, and the fastest way to this little cutie’s heart is straight through her belly. Much as she loves her food, she’s never grabby and doesn’t guard her snacks or toys either, letting me hold onto my end of the treat with no more than a ‘oh no you didn’t’ look in her eyes. Not one for hugs (except the stand-up kind instigated by herself) Winne is very affectionate, coming when called and happy to hop up beside me for a little quality chill-out time on the bench. In the street, she’s eager to make friends with the other dogs, and though her on-leash manners can be a bit too forward for shyer pups, her off-leash playgroup style is nothing but friendly greetings and play bows, and I’ve no doubt she’d be a big hit at the dog park. Beautiful, playful, loving Winne is full of joie de vivre and all she needs now is an active, dog-savvy forever family to share that joy…and the treats!
