DVM Intake Exam; Estimated age: 10 years; Microchip noted on Intake? scan negative; History : owner surrender; other dog in the home bit Willie on the ear ; Subjective: Observed Behavior – friendly; Objective ; BCS 5/9; EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted; Oral Exam: mild/moderate dental calc; PLN: No enlargements noted; H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic; ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated; U/G: MN; MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, approx 3 inch soft subcutaneous mass at right thorax, approx 1.5 soft subcutaneous mass proximal to caudal left elbow, 2 scabs seen at outer pinna of left ear; CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities; Assessment; subcutaneous masses- R/O benign lipomas vs maligant; scabs at ear- R/O dog bite vs other; appear to be healing; Prognosis: fair; Plan: recommend fine needle aspirate and cytology of masses
