SUPER URGENT 09/14/17 A volunteer writes: I often ask staff who their favorites are, and when staff clutches her heart and tells me Walter, he becomes an instant ‘must meet’. He’s a gorgeous dog, a blockhead, in a fabulously gleaming caramel coat, a gently wagging tail and a soft disposition. Super chill overall, he loves to be petted, looking up when the petting stops as if to say, ‘hey, whaddup?’. And we all start petting him again. Smart boy! Walter is amazing on leash, easy to walk, never pulling. He potties outside the moment we’re on the street, so is likely housetrained. Off leash in a room waiting for his behavior assessment (which he rocked, of course), he leans in for petting, wagging his tail gently. Lying down in his best imitation of a frog, legs splayed out behind him, he’s the picture of ease and contentment. Walter is over the adolescent puppy stuff and ready to settle quietly into a new life with a person or family who loves to relax as much as he does. The perfect companion for a night of binge-watching your favorite show, Walter would love to meet you today.
