Subjective: Obese spayed female chihuahua dog Observed Behavior – Calm. Do not move too much. Not reactive Objective P = 140 bpm BCS 9/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: dental taratar PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: spayed female MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment Obese- hypothyroidism vs cushings vs dietary indiscretion. Plan Weight reduction 50 mg metronidazole BID PO for 5 days. Bloodwork recommneded. Prognosis: fair
