I am a spayed female brown and white pit bull and germ shepherd mix. The shelter thinks I am about 7 YEARS old.
I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 03/26/2016 from NY 11208, owner surrender reason stated was NO TIME.

03/26/16 10:19 Basic Information: Vickie is a 7 year old pit-bull mix. He was given as a gift from a family member. Vickie is up to date on vaccinations but does have lump growth on her body. Owner surrenders Vickie due to new time. Social Life and Personality: Vickie lived with two female adults and been around children. Owner sated Vickie loves children and outgoing with strangers. Vickie is gentle with adults but becomes exuberant with children. Her behavior is unknown towards other animals. She mostly indoors and activity level is moderate. Owner describes Vickie as friendly, affectionate and excitable. Behavior: Vickie never had bitten another animal or human. Owner never touch her food bowl while eating or never attempt to take treats or toys away from her mouth. She likes to take baths and nail trim at the vet. She is friendly towards unfamiliar people who approach the house or family member. For a New Family to Know: Vickie is trained to use the bathroom in a garage on cement. She goes out 3-4 times a day but on walks she does pulls very hard on leash. Vickie uses to be crate-trained but doesn’t need it now. She knows commands such as sit, come here, stop and give paw. She likes to follow owner around the house or stay in her bed. Vickie eats dry food called Beneful once a day. Owner suggests Vickie goes to a home with children. Intake Behavior: Upon intake Vickie was loose body and relaxed. She scanned negative for a microchip and allowed collar and photographed by admission counselor.

03/30/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Vickie previously lived with two female adults and has been around children. The owner sated Vickie loves children and adults; she is relax, playful and gentle towards them. The owner mentioned Vickie is house trained; crate trained and has a medium activity level. The owner describes Vickie as friendly, affectionate and excitable. At intake it was reported Vickie was relaxed with loose body posture, she allowed all handling. During SAFER Vickie came into the assessment room calm and relaxed, she was friendly and affectionate towards the assessor. She allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Vickie was relaxed during the tag interaction, and during the resources portion of the assessment Vickie was easy to handle when engaged with the item. Vickie appears to be sociable, and did not display any behaviors concerns, so the department feels she can be suitable for an “Average” adopter. Look: 1. Dog’s eyes are averted. Her ears are back, her tail is down, and she has a relaxed body posture. Dog allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity: 2. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, her eyes are averted, her tail is between her legs, body a bit tense, mouth closed, and lip licks. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back her paw. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. Her eyes are averted and her ears are relaxed. Toy: 1. Minimal interest in toy, dog smells, then turns away. Dog-dog:When off leash with other dogs, Vickie avoids the helper dog at first but once in the pen she greets, solicits play and is bouncy.
03/29/2016 GROUP BEHAVIOR EVALUATION

When off leash with other dogs, Vickie greets with a neutral body, but becomes uncomfortable when the helper dog enters the pen and maintains distance between herself and the helper dog. 3/30 update: Vickie avoids the helper dog at first but once in the pen she greets, solicits play and is bouncy. 3/31 update: Vickie was reluctant to greet at the gate. She displayed conflicted behavior with play bows and giving hard barks. She allowed brief greets from the other dog and then wanders away. She is tolerant when the other dog becomes overbearing with her solicitations.

scan negative spayed female weight: 38.3lbs slightly cloudy occular lens clean ears – has a cyst by her right ear clean coat mild staining to teeth along with tater and gingivitis nails down to kwick has two masses on the right side of body – placing on vet check tomorrow for a vet to attend to overall body condition is good very happy girl – tail wagging – easy to handle BARH NOSF
