WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Velma is a petite sweetheart with the most beautiful amber eyes and a cute curly tail. She is very easy to walk and curious about all the goings-on around her, but once I sit down with her it’s clear she’s very interested in me, too! She loves to be pet and shimmies around so I can get all of her “spots” (that shimmying often lands her right in my lap!) and gives lots of tail wags and kisses in return. She seems housebroken, takes treats nicely, and already knows “sit,” “paw,” (she’ll give both and offer them unprompted, plus her delivery is ADORABLE!) and “down.” She seems to have a nice energy level and hasn’t been jumpy with me, but does let loose when I offer her a toy; she loves to play fetch or just marvel at the squeaky noise! Velma is such a little doll that I suspect if her namesake from Scooby Doo found out she was still looking for a home, all she’d be able to utter is “Jinkies!” Come see how special she is at Brooklyn ACC!
