06/01/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes “This young lady must have been the top of her charm school class! She went to the bathroom as soon as we got outside and various times throughout the walk. During the walk any time I called her name she’d turn toward and come to me for some TLC. She also heeled very nicely. She’s a trusting soul with lots of love to give.” Another volunteer writes: There is something about coming around the corner and seeing a tiny 40 lb. pit bull mix snuggled on a staffer’s lap giving kisses!!! Even Ula’s intake picture shows her with a big smile on her face! She’s an awesome snuggle girl looking for a forever lap and a forever face to smother with sweet kisses. Ula means ‘sea jewel’ and she is indeed our Care Center jewel. Don’t pass up the chance to meet her today!! And yes, I have to be corny – ULA la!
