12/10/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Looking for a ‘no excuses’ exercise partner? Someone who will be happy to get you going in the morning (or anytime) for a jog or a long walk? Someone who’s lived and is gentle with a young child? Well, your search has ended, come meet Tyson. A gorgeous dog, surrendered by his family due to personal problems, we’re told fire engine sirens scare him and make him bark, is mostly housetrained but sometimes has accidents at night, knows ‘sit’ (check), ‘give paw’ (check), ‘lay down’ and ‘up’. Tyson was so excited to come out for a walk using the facilities as soon as we were out the door. He pulls on the leash from time to time but can also walk very nicely, so with some ongoing leash training he’ll be a rockstar. He loved chasing the squirrels and birds in the park, and just loves to be where the action is. Tyson never stops wagging his tail, happy to make friends with everyone who wanted to meet him. A rockstar in playgroup, Tyson engages in exuberant running play with both males and females. An excellent model for photos, he sat when I asked, making soft eye contact for pictures. Off leash Tyson loved playing ball with me, came when I called him and cuddled in for some kisses. Lively, fun, friendly, affectionate and playful, our Tyson is looking for a new person or family to love. He’s ready to shake paw and wag his tail walking out the door with you. Ask to meet him today.
