04/08/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
Dog was extremely docile and calm

04/11/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Who’s a good boy? Tyrone’s a good boy! Show me a dog who stays calm and patient when tethered, wearing bunny ears and listening to an annoying human constantly nagging him to ‘look up, up, UUUUP!’ for photos and I’ll show you the sweetest, gentlest pet you could ever hope to meet. Ty didn’t know what to make of the Care Center when he first arrived, but after a few walks and lots of intense sniffing (his favorite pastime), he learned there was nothing to fear and opened his heart to share the lovable, easy-going personality that’s quickly earned him a place at the top of everyone’s ‘must walk’ list. These days you’ll find him contentedly meandering through the yard or the park, playing happily with his four-legged friends and meeting new two-legged friends with soft eyes and a happy tail. Ty’s not really into toys, but good treats are always appreciated, and he sits on command to receive them, too. His energy levels are wonderfully mellow, his leash style is eager yet steady (all the better for sniffing of course!) and he takes care of ‘business’ like a pro. Long walks, tasty food and a comfy couch to chill on when the day is done, these are a few of Tyrone’s favorite things, and he’d love to share them all with a forever family of his very own. Make him your good boy today!

04/10/2017 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
KNOWN HISTORY: None 4/8/17 Unaltered Male, Stray SAFER ASSESSMENT: 4/10/17 Look: 1. Dog’s eyes are averted, with tail wagging and ears back. He allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity: 1. Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft or squinty, soft and loose body, closed mouth. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Toy: 1. Minimal interest, dog sniffs toy. Summary: Tyrone was social throughout and displayed no concerning behaviors. He was calm and gentle in the assessment room. DOG-DOG INTERACTION ASSESSMENT: Summary PLAYGROUP: When introduced off leash to the female greeter dog, Tyrone solicits play, and engages in brief chase. When play slows down, he follows the female greeter while sniffing and licking her rear end. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 4/8/17 During his initial medical exam, Tyrone had a soft, loose body. ENERGY LEVEL: We have no history on Tyrone so we cannot be certain of his behavior in a home environment. In the care center, he appears to have a medium level of activity. We recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and hide-and-seek games, in additional to physical exercise, to positively direct his energy and enthusiasm. RECOMMENDATIONS: Average (suitable for an adopter with an average amount of dog experience)

04/09/2017 GROUP BEHAVIOR EVALUATION
Exam Type GROUP BEHAVIOR

When play slows down, he follows the female greeter while sniffing and licking her rear end. 4/10: Tyrone greets politely, then spends time wandering the yard. 4/11: Tyrone greets male and female dogs politely. He offers a low growl when solicited with play from a male dog, then resumes to avoid this dog. 4/17: Tyrone persistently attempts to mount other dogs. 4/18: Tyrone approaches and greets politely. He offers correction when a playful dog jumps on him in attempts to play. 4/19: Tyrone greets politely, then wanders away.
