A volunteer writes:
Rosario’s nature is as thoughtful and soft as his name suggests and his good manners are those of a true gentleman. Though this dear boy arrived as a ‘stray’, it’s clear he was a pet just a short time ago and what a pleasure it is to spend time with him! He walks like a dream, appears to be very house trained and will sit politely for a treat with no prompting at all. He seems to absolutely love other dogs, large or small, and offers up nice hugs and kisses to his human friends too. Out in the yard Rosario really lets loose with the tennis ball, waiting for my throw or excitedly bouncing straight up in the air and when it disappears into a small snowbank he plows right in after it, digging happily through the powder like a playful puppy. And just as you’d expect from such a nice guy, I can take reach down to take the ball from right under his nose with no issue at all. Rosario is a charming (and handsome!) chap that anyone would be proud to call their own, yet somehow he still hasn’t found a home. All it takes is one special person to recognize what should be plain for all to see – that this wonderful, warm and winning boy would make the perfect pet and the best companion. Please ask to meet Rosario today, he’s waiting for you.
