10/30/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/30/16 15:38 Basic Info: Twix A1095282 is a 10yr old neutered male red & white AMPBT mix who was purchased as a puppy and is being surrendered due to personal problems. Twix’s last vet visit was a couple of years ago and he currently has a small mass on his right side. Socialization: Twix is friendly/outgoing with strangers. He’s spent time neighborhood children of all ages and was gentle, exuberant, relaxed/playful & respectful of them also with the adult in the home. When Twix spots a dog on the street he barks and pulls towards them. The owner had never gotten him close enough to them to see how he would react. He has never bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: During storms Twix will bark at times. He isn’t bothered by the following: having his food/food bowl, toys/treats touched/moved, being moved off of furniture, being given a bath or with being disturbed while sleeping/resting. Twix hasn’t had his nails trimmed. If someone unfamiliar approaches the home/family member Twix is very “nosy” and will bark. For A New Family to Know: Twix is described as friendly, affectionate, playful, confident & mellow/relaxed with a medium activity level. The owner likes everything about Twix and Twix enjoys lounging and or being pet. When the owner is home Twix follows them around. He doesn’t really play with toys much and sleeps on his dog bed or on the floor. Twix eats Pedigree dry dog food 1-3x a day and likes any kind of treats. He’s house broken and hasn’t had an accident in years. When left home alone Twix is well behaved. Twix is walked 2x a day where he pulls on the leash when he spots another dog. His known commands are “sit”, “come”, “go” and “stay”. Intake Behavior: Twix had a loose wiggly body and allowed all handling. Twix allowed to be scanned (-), collared & taken pictures of where he posed like a pro. He walked alongside me where he then hopped into the kennel on his own.
11/01/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: A member of the frosted face club and proud of it! A badge of honor, of experiences enjoyed, friends made, and a life well lived to date. Joining us due to his person’s ‘personal problems’, Twix’s resume reads like the perfect biography: friendly and outgoing to strangers, gentle, relaxed, playful and respectful to the neighborhood children, doesn’t guard his stuff, is housebroken and doesn’t have accidents, well behaved when left home alone and knows ‘sit’, ‘come’ ‘go’ and ‘stay’. I loved meeting and spending time with Twix; he’s calm, gentle, easy, showed off his housetraining skills, easy tail wags and fabulous smile. He loves jumping up on the bench for some kisses and hugs, and yes, he settles in my lap thinking he’s a lap dog. How cute is that! His leash manners are lovely, he poses for pictures making soft eye contact, gently enjoys some treats, and has that perfect adult sweet energy that is so easy to be with. Twix’s eyes sparkle with good cheer, his friendly, outgoing good nature speak of a companion who will never judge, never criticize, and will always be happy you’re home. He’s just awesome and hoping you’ll stop by to meet him so that he can show you just how awesome. I guarantee you’ll love him!
