A volunteer writes: Maybe ‘back in the day’ Tsunami lived up to her name, but now she is the sweetest old lady you will ever hope to meet. Quiet in her kennel but delighted to come out for a walk she’s housetrained, and so sweet and easy I want to tuck her in my pocket and take her home. Her leash manners are excellent, she could use a mani/pedi as her nails are too long, and her back legs tremble a bit from age or the bitter cold or both. Tsunami was part of her family since she was 3 mos old and was surrendered to our care due to ‘personal problems’. We’re told she lived with a pug mix and was relaxed and playful, has been around older children and played gently with them, enjoys baths and being brushed, enjoys playing fetch and tug, doesn’t guard her ‘stuff’, is housetrained, and is crate trained but no longer needs it as she’s well behaved when home alone. Tsunami already has quite a fan club of staff and volunteers. With the cutest little pouty underlip ever, her eyes are bright and soft, her manners gentle and calm and she’s a favorite of all. Tsunami is hoping to find a warm heart to encircle her with love, and a soft bed on which to nap for the rest of her life. I adore this sweet old lady and you will too. Come meet her today.
