I am a male brown american staff mix. The shelter thinks I am about 9 YEARS old.
**Trion came to the ACC as a stray and has bites of unknown origin. He will need to be quarantined for 6 months at a vet clinic or can be quarantined in a home with permission from DOH in the 5 boroughs. If leaving the 5 boroughs, quarantine MUST be approved by the receiving city or township DOH.**
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 06/24/2017 from NY 10040, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

07/05/2017 Exam Type MS NEW URI – Medical Rating is 3 C – MAJOR CONDITIONS , Behavior Rating is AVERAGE, Weight 63.8 LBS.
Hx: Coughing a lot. Came in with bite wounds. S: Quiet, coughing, allows all handling, wagging tail, low energy O: BAR-H, BCS 7/9, MMs pink and moist. Temp 99.5 EENT: Mild serous nasal discharge. Left ear – canal stenosis, moderate discharge, smells yeasty. Clean right ear. Ears are cold to the touch. Lacerations healing very well – no discharge, swelling or erythema. Large patch of dermatitis on muzzle is resolving – skin is depigmented but there is no more ulceration. H/L: NSR, NMA. Coughing, quiet lung sounds, RR 32. Abd: Soft, no pain on palpation, no masses palpated M/S/I: Amb x4. No skin lesions noted. UG: Male intact, testicles soft and symmetrical. Neuro: Alert and appropriate, no sign neurological deficiencies A: CIRDC, otitis externa AS Short-term prognosis: Good P: Move to isolation, start doxycycline 300 mg PO SID x14 days, clean ears and administer Osurnia. 1088

06/24/17 11:00 Upon intake, Trion had a loose body and allowed all handling, allowed being collared, and having his pictue taken. Trion scanned negative for a microchip. When the officer left Trion, he got up to try and follow. Trion was very sluggish and tired, but he was compliant.

Dog allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is closed. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. Toy: 1. Minimal interest, dog sniffs toy. Summary: Trion displayed no concerning behaviors on his assessment. DOG-DOG INTERACTION ASSESSMENT: Summary PLAYGROUP: Summary INTAKE BEHAVIOR: Upon intake, Trion had a loose body and allowed handling. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 6/24/17 During his initial medical exam, Trion was calm and allowed all handling.
