For a New Family to Know: Trevor is described as being friendly, affectionate and playful. He is not bothered by being pushed off the furniture or restrained, and is not startled by loud noises. He allows his owner to bathe and groom him, but his owner has not tried to trim his nails before. He will alert bark when someone approaches the house or yard. He likes to play with balls and chew toys or bones. He sometimes follows his family around and other times keeps to himself. He has been an indoor dog and sleeps in his crate. He eats dry food and is house trained to go outside, he will go by the door and whine when he wants to be let out. He can be left alone in the house free roam for short periods of time, but if he is left alone for a long time he needs to be crated as he will scratch the walls or furniture. He knows the commands sit, come, down, back and stay. He walks on leash for exercise and will pull when he sees something he wants to get to. He has jumped his fence from his yard at times so he does need to be supervised.
