I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 07/25/2017 from NY 11419, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

07/27/17 S/O: QARH. Allows all handling. Drinking water, ate small amount of food. Medical staff observed normal urination. Resting, appears comfortable, in cage EENT: Teeth clean, pink moist mm, eyes clear, no ocular or nasal discharge, ears wnl HL: Normal RR/rE MSI: No attempts to stand, swelling of RH limb Assessment: hit by car–pelvic fx. left acetaculum, right ischium, bladder appear intact on rads Appears comfortable, stable at this time Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC. Continue with LRS, rimadyl and hydromorphone Prognosis: fair with surgery SURGERY: Temporary waiver due to trauma

The behavior department believes ToTo would benefit best from placement with a New Hope Rescue who can meet his needs medically and then assess behavior once he is in a stable environment. Force-free, reward based training is advised when introducing/exposing ToTo to new and unfamiliar situations. PLAYGROUP: ToTo is unable to attend playgroup due to getting hit by a car. INTAKE BEHAVIOR 7/25/17: Unknown MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 7/25/17: Toto was friendly and calm but no handling was conducted due to his injury.
