Basic Information: Tookie is a 9 year old Female brown and black small dog. She came to her home 6 month ago after the owner passed away. Tookie was surrendered due to the owner having no time.

How is this dog around strangers? Around strangers Tookie is shy at first but will relax and become calm.
How is this dog around children? Tookie has been around children and is playful and gentle around children.
How is this dog around other dogs? When Tookie sees another dog she barks and is playful.
How is this dog around cats? Tookie has never been around cats.
Resource guarding: Tookie isn’t bothered when someone touches her food bowl or toys. When an unfamiliar person approaches the her home she is friendly and stays calms.
Bite history: Tookie has no bite history.

Tookie is described as a friendly, mellow, and independent. She like to follow the family around the home. She Likes squeaky toys, stuffed toys and stays indoors but goes out side to the uses the potty on the grass and cement. Tookie is feed dry and wet food twice a day. She is well behaved and has been crate trained but the crate door always stays open, otherwise she will cry. Tookie knows how to sit and goes on brisk walks on leash.

Upon intake Tookie was shy at first but allowed the counselor to collar her and take and a photo.

Summary (1): According to Tookie’s previous owner, Tookie barks and plays with other dogs.
2/7: When off leash at the Care Centers, Tookie greets a group of small male and female dogs with a soft body. She explores the pens, mostly keeping to herself.
