02/06/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Toby pulls a bit on the leash. He became a bit fearful during the assessment. Toby became uncomfortable during handling he allows the assessor to collar him but his body was a bit stiff. During the sensitivity Toby freezes, raised his lip and turned quickly toward the assessor hand. The behavior team decided to stop the handling part of the assessment. Toby didn’t show any interest in toys. He was relaxed when approaching a friendly dog, but was not playful. The behavior department feels that he would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 5. Dog freezes. Toy 1. No interest. Helper:A1064358
