01/10/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Little Toby is a good looking young man who is begging for a home sweet home….He has a sensitive soul and is quite wary within our walls. He was already shy and not so socialized in his former home but played well with the people and children he knew. I just met him yesterday. He did not give me any grief but I was gentle, of course, having heard about him…Toby came right away to his door, took a soft treat from my hand, got leashed 1,2,3 and off we went to the yard where he did his business right away without marking. Two big dogs were met. No fuss…Of note is that Toby was in a playgroup with other pooches and did well. Leash free, Toby explored the pen, was a little camera shy but elected to stay close to me, putting often his front paws on my lap and letting me pet his head without problem. True lap time will be for tomorrow, when Toby will be more comfortable with me…You see, tiny and pretty Toby is workable, in experienced hands…Truly loved and understood, this little munchkin could make a wonderful friend. Come and meet him at the Manhattan Care Center and make his wish come true.
