A volunteer writes: Thunder has found the fountain of youth, as until I looked at his age I would have sworn he’s a puppy! Playful, energetic and fun, Thunder bounces around our pen discovering new scents, playing tug with a soft toy, wagging his tail and coming in for some cuddles. Surrendered by the only family he’s ever known as they’re moving where he’s not welcome, they tell us that he’s friendly to all, is relaxed and respectful with the young children with whom he lived (ages 1,2 and 3), doesn’t guard his things, is housetrained and lets you know when he needs to go out by whining, is well behaved when left home alone and is very active. Thunder pulled hard on the leash during our walk, maybe excitement at being out and discovering new things as his former person told us he only pulls lightly. Fun, friendly, lively and affectionate and a proven family dog, Thunder is hoping he’ll have a new family to love soon. He’s been nicely taken care of, knows what the circle of love is, and is ready for it. Are you ready for Thunder?
