A volunteer writes: HI! My name is Ten…maybe because they think I’m 10 months old? Or maybe because I’m going to love you TEN thousand thousand thousand times? I get lots of ‘awwwwws’ when I go for a walk, as I’m tiny and shy and I’d really prefer to be snuggling than walking on leash. I let my new friend, Volunteer, put a coat on me because it was cold and we walked to the park. I haven’t had much practice walking on leash but did pretty well, ’cause I’m smart like that. I also know how to sit for a treat, and take it gently so I don’t hurt your fingers. I was happy to see other dogs as we walked, and then I had a chance to meet a couple off leash in the yard. It was fun! I’m a bit shy but liked to play. My favorite thing though was snuggling with my human friend; she laughed at me as I climbed into her lap and gave her kisses. She called me a “Velcro dog” whatever that means as I sat by her feet when she wrote stuff on a piece of paper. She called them ‘notes’. I do need a little TLC for my coat as I have some patches of thinning fur because I didn’t get the best food where I lived before. I’m ready to be your best friend and love you TEN hundred thousand million times, so come meet me and lets snuggle together forever and ever!
