I was warned by a few volunteers…. “You will fall for this dog..” And I did , of course… Taz is no devil but a very gentle and friendly middle aged American BullDog , surrendered as his owner was not able to care for his skin issues anymore. We are told that he is really docile and very nice around strangers and …cats… Taz is quickly on his feet when he sees my leash. He is so sweet, looking at me with very welcoming and imploring eyes. He is a gentle giant and a slow walker doing his business in one stop. Taz’ attention perks up a little at the sight of other dogs but he continues his stroll without attempting to meet. Taz likes his time in the yard and I love to spend time with a calm dog….He listens, follows, sits on command and takes treats so nicely from my hand. He is so cute , spreading himself on the beautiful green grass. He is so majestic but quite less when he rolls his body , all silly, belly up for caresses….Taz is such a sweet and pleasant dog, in very much need of TLC, proper nutrition and veterinary care. He is so worth the effort to make him better as he is very much loyal best friend material…Well cared for and loved, Taz will be a masterpiece. Come and meet him soon at the Manhattan Care Center.
