03/13/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
03/13/16 15:58 Tasha A1067525 was found last sunday on 3/6/2016 in the Bronx. She stated that in the past week, Tasha has not been getting along with her cat. Tasha was fed pedigree dry food. The finder stated that Tasha is very friendly with strangers and allowed all handling. Behavior during intake Tasha was very friendly and allowed me to approach her with the scanner. She allowed me to leash her and collar her. I placed her on the backdrop. She vocalized as she saw her finders leaving the facility. She tolerated all petting and was transferred onto the transport van with ease.
03/16/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: The Urban Dictionary defines ‘Tasha’ as “looking good, very stunning, always glowing, a Tasha is a beautiful creation”. Wow, could they be any more accurate?! She’s an absolute tail wagging delight, a little peanut in a gorgeous coat of tans, bronzes, browns — stunning! Quiet in her kennel, and wiggly butt as I unlatched her door, we head outside where she goes potty immediately. She has a delightful prance to her walk like a little bit of royalty, and when we stop in the park for some pictures she poses like she’s done this 1000x before. Off leash in the backyard Tasha cuddles close for pictures, washing my face with delicious kisses, and takes treats hungrily. Off leash in play group sessions she romps with both males and females, and while she wasn’t interested in a toy or a ball while we were together she’s most interested in cuddling! A snack and a kiss and Tasha’s tail whirs like a little helicopter — she’s so cute! Tasha rocked her behavior assessment indicating she’ll do well in a home with average dog experiences and she’s hoping that her new family finds her soon. Petite and sweet, she’s ready for a lifetime of kisses, hugs, and sweet playtime with her new person or family. Who will be the lucky one to take her home?
03/15/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE

Tasha walks calmly on leash. She was not sociable, and was more interested in the surroundings than the handler during the assessment. Tasha was calm and relaxed during handling. She was distracted, focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag test. She was not interested in toys. Tasha did not show any concern during the behavior assessment. The behavior department feels that she can go to an Average home. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. 03/14/2016 GROUP BEHAVIOR EVALUATION
Exam Type GROUP BEHAVIOR
Marisol engages in bouts of play with female dogs. She greets male dogs but does not solicit, and often corrects mounting. Marisol appears to be preferential toward engaging in play with female dogs, but a pre-adoption interaction is recommended to ensure compatability with a resident dog. She arrived into our care as a stray so in home behaviors with dogs are unknown. When off leash with other dogs, Tasha greets politely and engages in soft play with males and females. 3/15 update: Tasha greets males and females, engaging in bouts of pushy play. She begins to correct mounting. 3/16 update: Tasha is tolerant of greeting from a male. She corrects mounting.
