A volunteer writes:
Surrendered with his housemate Bozzie (A0970261), Taja is trying to make the best out of his new situation. He was clearly a cherished member of his family, overfed to show love. His nails are trimmed, his coat is clean, and he’s a low key, friendly boy. We are told he is housetrained and he proved it to me by peeing forever when we walked out the door. He pulls a bit on the leash initially but then settles into a nice rhythm with me. Very camera shy, he did not like posing for photos, so it was hard to capture how handsome this meaty fellow is!! At my invitation he placed his upper body in my lap for some hugs and kisses; he’s quite an affectionate boy in his low key undemanding way. He liked meeting new people, and made friends with someone who stopped to talk to us. As I sat on the park bench, Taja relaxed and lay down at my feet, closing his eyes, perhaps imagining that he was still with his family… Taja has many years of cuddles and friendship in front of him, and if you are the lucky person to adopt him he will be at the door waiting for you to come home. How great would that be!
