Brought in with doxycyline 50mg/ml: 0.9ml PO SID x14, started on 5/25/17, o has been giving at home for CIRDC Observed Behavior – no aggression, allows all handling Objective T = 99.6 P = 120 R = 36 BCS 4.5/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, moderate serous nasal d/c, sneezing throughout exam Oral Exam: moderate tartar and mild gingival recession PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: MC, neuter site CDI MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat, p stiff when attempted to assess ROM, no palpable ortho abN noted, mild alopecia with intermittent skin thickening on dorsal tail- distal half of tail CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment CIRDC- already on doxycyline 50mg/ml: 0.9ml PO SID x14, started 5/25/17 tail:: r/o from chronic tail rubbing Plan move to iso con’t doxycyline 50mg/ml: 1.0ml PO SID x6 more days, then reassess at that time- cannot be completely sure p was given meds daily at home, so if still has CIRDC signs in 4 days, extend course Prognosis: good SURGERY: n/a
