05/07/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: This gorgeous, and I mean gorgeous – perfect weight, gleaming coat, shy but social personality, still looks for her person when we’re out, but she’s slowly adjusting to a new, and hopefully, temporary stop in her life, surrounded by new people who love her. She’s a favorite of the playgroup staff who tell me she’s a rockstar in group and spends a good deal of her morning playing with her buddies. “Dogs make her happy” is what I was told. Suzy showed me her housetraining skills, her ‘sit’, takes treats gently, bounced over to meet other dogs passing our pen, and came on the bench to snuggle by my side and give me kisses. Suzy’s tail wags when I talk to her, and when a new dog passes by she bounces over to say hello, bouncing back to me to check in before exploring our pen again. Fabulously gorgeous, Suzy is sweet and easy, hoping to find true love again. I promised her we’d do our best for her, so won’t you help me make my promise come true?
