DVM Intake Exam; Estimated age: 13 years; Microchip noted on Intake? negative; History : stray ; Subjective: BARH; Observed Behavior – very sweet. Easily handleable. Did well for all medical handling and procedures. Objective ; P = wnl ; R = eupneic ; BCS 4/9; EENT: Eyes have nuclear sclerosis OU with no d/c, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted; Oral Exam: missing most teeth, mass on the bottom lip ~0.5cm dermal mass; PLN: No enlargements noted; H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic; ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated; U/G: FI, multiple MGTs along both chains, no vulvar d/c; MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, ~4cm mass between anus and vulva, healthy hair coat; CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities; Rectal: no perineal hernias, mass feels like soft tissue but is firm in nature, firm feces in anus; Assessment: Geriatric; Dental disease; Multiple MGTs; Small dermal mass on bottom lip; Mass between vulva and anus r/o hernia vs neoplasia vs benign; Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC; Rec workup of all masses-AUS, biopsies/removal, BW, CXR with placement; Scheduled BW and CXR 7/5; Prognosis: Fair to guarded depending on masses; SURGERY: permanently waived due to age and masses
