05/04/16 15:47 Basic info Sunny A1072499 was surrendered because the owner is moving and cannot hold on to the dog another day. The client expressed that he got the dog from a breeder upstate. Client also stated that the animal has never had any health issues or injuries. Socialization Sunny loves all people. When he’s around strangers he will wag his tail and pick his head on your lap. Sunny however, doesn’t like other dogs or cats. Sunny can be reactive around dogs and cats. When Sunny is around other animal he will bark and lower his body. Sunny has never been around children. Behavior Sunny has no pervious bite history with anyone or animal. Sunny doesn’t have any behavior issues that would be a concern inside a home. Sunny loves warm baths and brushing. Whenever sunny get as brushes he instantly falls asleep. Sunny isn’t food reactive or isn’t bothered by things being taken out of his mouth. Sunny loves head rubs and starches. For a new family to know Sunny is very friendly and affectionate. Sunny is an indoor dog that has had some experience outdoors. Sunny eats dry foods and raw chicken. Sunny does respond commands such as sit, don’t and down. Sunny loves belly rubs and playing fetch right after his daily meals. Sunny would be awesome in a home with a lot of people. Upon intake Upon intake Sunny was super friendly and active. Sunny allowed all handling.

Helper dog: A1072027 Sunny previously lived with 1 adult. The owner stated sunny loves all people; he’s very friendly and affectionate. The owner mentioned sunny is reactive towards cats and other dogs, he would bark and lower his body. It was reported by the owner Sunny loves belly rubs and puts his head on your lap. At intake it was reported Sunny was super friendly and allowed all handling. During SAFER Sunny came into the assessment room loose and wiggly, he was friendly and affectionate towards the assessor. He allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Sunny was relaxed during the tag interaction, and during the resources portion of the assessment Sunny was easy to handle when engaged with the item. Due to some concerns stated from the previous owner Sunny is reactive towards cats and other dogs; the behavior department feels he can be suitable for an experience adopter with no other animals in the household. Look: 1. Dog holds gaze with soft eyes, soft body. He allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Dog holds gaze for three full seconds. Sensitivity: 1. Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft, soft and loose body, open mouth. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Squeeze 2:1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Toy 1: 1. Dog settles close, keeps a firm grip and is loose and wiggly. He does not place his body between you and the toy. Dog-dog: 3. Dog approaches the helper dog by rushing in with his tail high, tense body, head tall, and ears erect.
