A Little Bit About Me…

A volunteer writes: Delicious Strudel lives up to his name and then some! He’s sweet, full of flavor, perfect for entertaining a crowd or savoring as a special treat all by yourself, and while his former life was clearly no bed of roses, on the inside he’s just a silly, affectionate puppy wanting nothing more than to love and be loved in return. Strudel acts like he’s never seen a toy before and doing anything on command is a foreign concept but he’s eager to please and walks very nicely on leash, takes care of his business outdoors and comes when called for jumpy hugs and butt rubs. He’s a genuine social butterfly too, meeting fellow dogs in the street with a friendly tail wag and bouncing around happily in playgroup, and I’m sure he’d love some four-legged playmates in his new home to show him the ropes when it comes to fetch, tag and all the other games a pet ought to know. Strudel’s life may not have been lived in luxury but his shining eyes and beaming smile say it all–in spirit and heart, he’s the richest dog you’ll ever meet. Be the hero Strudel already thinks you are and welcome him home sweet home today!

If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email helpdogs@urgentpodr.org. Our experienced volunteers will do their best to guide you through the process.

* We highly discourage everyone from trusting strangers that send them Facebook messages, offering help, for it has ended in truly tragic events.*
