SAFE 11/22/17
Storm
Hello, my name is Storm . My animal id is #11977. I am a female white dog at the Brooklyn Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 11 years 2 weeks old.
I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 07-Nov-2017, with the surrender reason stated as poor choice – too many animals already.
Storm is at risk due to being diagnosed with Canine Infection Respiratory Disease Complex and will likely require home rest and a series of antibiotics for up to 14 days. This is a contagious illness to other dogs. Storm is suitable for an adopter with an average amount of dog experience.
Let’s get to know each other a bit more…
A volunteer writes: Storm is a puppy in old lady clothes!! It’s hard to believe she’s hit the double digits, but even harder to believe how completely SWEET she is. She wags her tail at the prospect of any and every thing, and with those pretty white-lashed peepers of hers, she sees a new friend in every stranger’s face. She pulls a little on leash, but always looks up at me to marvel at the adventure we’re on together, and sometimes can’t help but jump up to sneak a hug in (and yes, her tail is a blur the entire time!). She is still full of energy and is a fetching machine (and a master at cuddling with the ball in her mouth!). She has previously lived with both large and small dogs, is reported to be well-behaved when left alone, and we’re told she’s playful and exuberant with children. She loves treats, loves being talked to, and a combo of the two is enough for her to bust out the helicopter tail and do a tap dance with her front paws. She is truly a doll, and I can only imagine that even on your very worst days, coming home to Storm will instantly make everything all right. Please come meet this special lady at Brooklyn ACC!
