11/07/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: If “sweetness density” was a recognized measurement in dogs, little Spirit would rank at the tippy top! She was surrendered as a stray, so we don’t know much about her…only that she is irresistible! She might be a tiny bit bashful at first and sensitive to lots of commotion, but she is incredibly docile and craves affection. When I approach her cage her wiggly tail thumps against the wall and she is always checking in outside. She has been very easy to handle on leash, prefers cuddling to treats, and seems to have housetraining. She has shown soft body language around other dogs in our playgroups, but hasn’t yet engaged in play. She frequently props her paws up on me and seems like she could stay there getting pets and licking my hands forever! Little Spirit is looking for a place in this big, sometimes scary, world to call home…please come see her (and fall in love!) at Brooklyn ACC!
