A volunteer writes: Adopted from us as a puppy, Sophie makes her return entrance as a gorgeous, well fed, sophisticated yet playful adult. Sweet and friendly, she’s so happy to be chosen next for a walk and out we go. She’s pleasantly plump (more to love), but it suits her, and all that love is wrapped in a shiny brindle coat. She’s stunning. We’ve alternately referred to her as a little piglet, as well as a little sausage, all said with a great deal of love. Her leash manners are lovely, she potties as soon as we’re outside, and her loving soft eyes make contact with mine as she poses for some pictures. Off leash in a pen Sophie loves playing with soft toys and excitedly greets another volunteer who joins us. Meeting new people? Yes please!! In group play she gently engages with both males and females, offering correction for rough play. She snuggles, she smiles, she semi rolls over for a belly rub and through it all she never stops wagging her tail. She’s an awesome girl who’s looking for a new home for the rest of her life. Someone is going to be so lucky – shouldn’t it be you?
