PROFILE:
Basic Information: Sonny is a 12 year old unaltered male Rottweiler. He was given as a gift from a family member and been with owners since a puppy. Owner stated Sonny is healthy and doesn’t have any health concerns. Owner surrenders Sonny die to personal problems.
Social Life and Personality: Sonny lived with 3 adults and been around children ages 3-9 years. Owner stated Sonny is friendly, affectionate and outgoing towards everyone in the household. Sonny interacts gently with strangers but owner states he doesn’t know his own weight and will become jumpy. He does well with other dogs that come to the house and becomes curious and only sniffs them. His behavior is unknown towards cats. He’s mostly outdoors in a yard and owner describes him as affectionate, playful and pushy.
Behavior: Sonny has never bitten or scratched anyone owner stated. He often uses the bathroom indoors even after walks. He is friendly when owner touches food bowl, take toys or treats away from his mouth. He enjoys baths in the yard with water holes. He isn’t bothered when someone approaches the house or family member.
For a New Family to Know: Sonny isn’t trained to use the bathroom on walks but will use the bathroom in the yard or in the house anywhere. He likes to follow owner around the house and play with balls. He eats wet and dry food called Pedigree twice a day. He is well- behaved when home alone but mostly in a yard. He knows commands such as sit and give paw.
4/3: When introduced off leash to the female greeter dog Sonny greets politely, then roams the pen while keeping to himself.
