RE EXAM 04/24/17: DVM Intake Exam; Intact female; Estimated age: 12 years; History : Stray geriatric dog.; Subjective: Geriatric female intact dog with cataracts, mammary gland tumor and blind.; Observed Behavior – Vocalize a lot, BAR; Objective;L P = 120 bpm BCS 5/9; EENT: Right eye moderate cataracts and blind, left eye- microphthalmia and blind, ears clean, Watery asal discharge noted; Oral Exam: missing teeth, Moderate dental tartar; PLN: No enlargements noted; H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic; ABD: Non painful, Mammary gland tumor on the left caudal quadrant.; U/G: intact female; MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat; CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities; Assessment; Watery discharge- assess heart to rule out murmur.; Cataracts; Blind; Dental tartar; Plan; Placement or adoption recommended; Radiographs is recommended to rule out CV problem Blood work is recommended. Prognosis: Fair Permanent waiver due to geriatric condition.
