Snyper is very good around strangers, He is friendly and outgoing. He has been in a home with other kids. He has lived children ages 1 to 12 and is playful and gentle. Snyper has also lived with another dog, a shih tzu male, and they were playful with each other. Snyper does not like large dogs and could possibly get into an altercation with them.
He has not been around cats, he is almost perfectly house trained and does not destroy things in the home. He is not bothered by having his food, toys or treats touched or taken away. When strangers approach the house he barks, if someone comes into the house he runs to them to smell them and will jump onto them playfully.
Snyper has a low level of activity at home. He has a dog bed that he sleeps in and likes to follow his owner around when awake. He only has an accident in the house once or twice a month otherwise he is house trained. When left alone in the house he is well behaved. Snyper knows sit and come in English and Spanish. When on the leash he pulls very hard. Snyper is fed pedigree dry food with a constant full bowl throughout the day.
Snyper was nervous and shies away from councilor. Snyper allowed touch from councilor after some time for acclimation and was able to pet Snyper.

Our experienced volunteers will do their best to guide you through the process. * We highly discourage everyone from trusting strangers that send them Facebook messages, offering help, for it has ended in truly tragic events.* For more info on behavior codes and ratings, please click here: http://information.urgentpodr.org/acc-placement-status-descriptions.
