05/03/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Winter may be over, but the sight of beautiful, soft, and feathery snow is one that’s always welcome. And 1 year-old Snow is so lovely, comforting, and calm, she’ll make you want to curl up under a blanket and with hot cocoa, no matter the temps outside. Snow is quiet as a mouse in her kennel, looking up at me with those bright amber eyes, politely asking for a walk. So on a walk we go, where she tends to business straight away, afterwards showing off her girly yet elegant walk. She stays right at my side ignoring the hustle and bustle of the city, but pauses at each pup we pass, giving them all a big wiggle and a wag. Snow is said to have previously lived well with another large dog with whom she was gently playful. True to form, the moment we enter the grassy yard she rushes up to greet a furry neighbor through the pen and drops excitedly into a goofy bow. Young Snow is a petite, curious, and affectionate girl ready for her next chapter and for the love and care she deserves. Hard to believe but winter is coming (well, eventually) and when it does you’ll want the right girl at your side. Snow is waiting in adoptions at Manhattan’s ACC.
