08/24/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Snoopy walks with a low fearful body language. He was stiff and did not show social behavior he tries to escape Snoopy was tense with hard eyes, dilated pupil and growling when the behavior team tries to collar him. The behavior team decided to skip the handling portions of the assessment for safety concern. During the resources Snoopy was not interested in toys. The behavior department feels that he would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home. Force-free, reward based training is advised when introducing/exposing Snoopy to new situations.
