She is described as affectionate, playful, shy, fearful, and anxious. Snickers pulled hard on leash for her relief walk. She pulled out of assessor’s hands on all three Look attempts. Snickers stood still and accepted the touch during Sensitivity item, open mouth. She was focused on an exit during Tag game. Snickers did not pull her paw back on both Squeeze attempts. She showed no interest in Toy, though this may be due to environment as owner reports she likes to play with any type of toy, though will destroy it. When off leash with other dogs, Snickers appeared very fearful and very uncomfortable. She avoids any interactions and attempts to exit. She does not appear to benefit from being off leash with other dogs. The Behavior Team feels Snickers would do best with an Experienced adopter. She may initially benefit from a slow approach/slow introduction and going home to a calm, quiet, structured environment so she can relax and warm up at her own pace. Snickers may benefit from being the only resident dog.
